Articles

As a service to our students and the general population of business and IT professionals, we offer a library of articles and tutorials. View our collection of articles and tutorials for information, answers, and quick studies. We'll keep you informed about the latest technologies, applications, certification programs, and other tidbits of information.
Why do we offer tutorials when we have a full catalog of quality courses? While distance learning and classes have their place, sometimes all you need is a quick tutorial. For example, if you're an intermediate Excel user who is comfortable using Excel for the most part, you might need to learn a single feature such as using PivotTables. In this case, a short tutorial covering how to use PivotTables would be more appropriate than taking a full class that covers information that you already know or don't yet need to know.
In addition to articles covering computer training, we also discuss certifications. For example, if you're not quite sure about the direction of your career, reading overviews of different certification programs can help you decide which credential makes the most sense for your current situation.
We carefully select computer articles that are of interest to our students. Among the selection criteria:
- Microsoft Office 2010 Web Friendly Features
